Our team at Del-Air Heating and Air Conditioning is thrilled to announce the homes we have worked on for the past two years, built by Habitat for Humanity Longwood, were recently completed. Keys to these newly-made homes were distributed during a dedication ceremony. Nearly a dozen families were recipients of these keys, most of whom haven’t been homeowners for quite some time.
These 10 homes were made thanks to the incredible hard work, tenacity, and dedication of the members of Habitat for Humanity of Seminole County and Greater Apopka. Prior to the construction on Magnolia Place, the property consisted of an abandoned building and a vacant lot. One of the new homeowners, Dellanira Agramonce, was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to move to Florida and escape an abuser. “Going from homelessness to obviously being a first-time homeowner has to be a very proud moment,” she said.
Del-Air Heating and Air Conditioning was honored to work alongside Habitat for Humanity and truly make a difference for those who need it most. This event was momentous, as we were able to do our part in providing these members of the community with an opportunity to live in stable, affordable housing. We look forward to giving back to the community in various ways for years to come.
